Throw me off the highest building and I won’t break.
But me put in the ocean and I will.

A piece of paper!
If you throw a piece of paper off a tall building, it will be completely fine. It may float around for a while, but it will eventually gently fall to the ground and be just fine.
But if you put it in any water, such as the ocean, it will fall apart and disintegrate.
