Can you solve this logic puzzle?

A farmer, one wolf, one sheep, and one basket of cabbage need to cross a river using a small boat.

The boat can only carry two things at a time. One is always the farmer and the other is one of the animals or the basket of cabbage.

If left alone together, the wolf will eat the sheep, and the sheep will eat the cabbage.

How can they all get across the river safely?
