The only letter that appears in every odd number is the letter E.
Here are the odd numbers up to 19 and you’ll see that the letter E is in each one:
- One
- Three
- Five
- Seven
- Nine
- Eleven
- Thirteen
- Fifteen
- Seventeen
- Nineteen
And once you get to the twenties, every subsequent odd number is some combination of what has already appeared, for example twenty-one, which already contains an E.
